Hdi RAWworks together with Canon USA, Birns and Sawyer, Redrock Micro Systems, Marshall Electronics, LitePanels, Carl Zeiss USA, and Hot Rod Cameras are proud to sponsor the second meeting of the HD SLR Center of Excellence. The HD SLR Center of Excellence is designed for everyone interested in creating compelling content using HD enabled DSLR cameras. The Center will cover key aspects of camera use, production and post-production and appeal to professional filmmakers and photographers wanting to get the most out of HD SLRs.

Admission is $10 at the door - parking and refreshments are free.

12:00 noon - 2k Theater viewing of color corrected Canon footage

12:30 - Lighting Tutorial with LitePanels

1:00 pm - Focusing and Monitoring on set - Marshall Monitors and Redrock Micro systems

1:30 pm - 2k Theater viewing of color corrected Canon footage

2:00 pm - Jason Lehel, DP on feature 'Isolation' shot on three 7Ds.

3:00 pm - 2k Theater viewing of color corrected Canon footage

4:00 pm - Doors close

During the day attendees will be able to visit the DI Theater to watch HD SLR footage projected on a 2k DLP projector.

Each screening session will last approximately 6 minutes and there will be opportunity to talk to our colorists, Jeremy and Aaron on finishing and coloring issues.
